You will receive an estimate from the insurance company. I will review and explain all of the details of the estimate just like the adjuster did but with a focus on what items you want done or not done. If there are items that you do not want done Easy and Fast can credit you those ACV funds toward the deductible or upgrades or code requirements as necessary.
You will also get an ACV check. (Your first check is for the actual cash value of your claim).
Check to make sure it is made out to the proper person(s) and mortgage company if they put that on there. (Sometimes they don’t depending on the mortgage company and size of the check) If it needs to be endorsed by your mortgage company call them for instructions. Do not sign it. If it is a local mortgage company, credit union or bank you can probably take it there to be endorsed.
If there is no mortgage company have each party sign it and endorse to “Pay to the order of Easy and Fast Roofing”.
I will make a copy and give it to you as a receipt.
If you choose you may deposit the check and write a personal check or have your bank issue a “bank check” made payable to Easy and Fast Roofing.
Next if you haven’t done so already start thinking about the color of your shingle. We can match most colors and types subject to age and fading.
You may consider updating venting and or impact resistant shingles as an upgrade(s).
Please ask about their benefits and cost. Most insurance companies will give a premium discount for Impact Resistant shingles ask your agent.
